Recently frontman of the legendary Oi! punk band, Cocksparrer, Colin McFaull stopped by the shop for a tattoo. As you can see in the photos, Colin got the iconic Cocksparrer logo tattooed on his arm. Not only is this Colin’s first tattoo, but it is the first time a member of the band has ever had the logo tattooed. Enjoy the photos.

Due to unforseen circumstances, Nick Reid will not be attending the Carlisle Tattoo Convention. Steve Richardson will now be joining Dan Gold for the event. The convention takes place on the April 25th – 26th at the Carlisle Tattoo Convention - also known as North Lakes Tattoo Show. It is a great feeling to celebrate a birthday, especially the very first one - and that is exactly what we’re doing here at Skunx Tattoo. It is now been one year since we opened our doors in April 2008. We are extremely grateful to all our customers and friends who have supported the shop, we wouldn’t be where we are without you. Over the past year we’ve had the pleasure of meeting some great people. We can hardly believe it but it’s been almost one year since Skunx Tattoo opened it’s doors here at 11 Chape Market in Angel. To mark this occasion, we’re having a party on 11th of April at the shop from 7pm onwards. Why not come down and celebrate our 1st first birthday with us? See you there.

Actor, Nigel Havers, came round to the shop today to get inked by Dan Gold. The entire tattoo session was filmed for an upcoming episode of BBC4’s, “I’ve not seen Star Wars”. This show, hosted by Marcus Brigstocke, sees guests invited to try five new cultural experiences, things they haven’t done before.

A huge thank you to George and his crew for the amazing Manchester Tattooo that happened this past weekend. Both Dan and Steve had a great time making new friends, and producing some outstanding tattoo’s. Along with inking, Steve got involved in the tattoo competitions as a judge.

Dan Gold and Steve Richardson have returned from their very successful trip to the recent Brighton Tattoo Convention. Not only did they have a good time, they made a good few clients extremely happy with their new ink.

If you missed Dan and Steve at the Brighton Convention, don’t worry, you’ll be able catch them both again at the Manchester Tattoo Convention (Dan is a co-organiser) which takes place on the 7th and 8th of March. Not only will Dan be tattooing, he will also be promoting his new range of tattoo inks.
