Rancid’s Lars Frederiksen visits the shop | New apprentice

This past weekend saw Rancid guitarist/vocalist, Lars Frederiksen drop by the shop for a visit.

Before heading back home, Rancid drummer, Branden Steineckert, stopped into the shop to get some ink from Steve.

Dublin Tattoo Convention Roundup

The Skunx Crew of Nick Reid and Dan Gold had a very successful visit to this year’s Dublin Tattoo Convention. It was great to meet everybody at the event. A big thank you to all those people that kept Nick and Dan incredibly busy during the convention, making the Skunx Tattoo stand one of the busiest at the event.

A huge thank you to Paddy and everybody else at the Dublin Tattoo Convention for making everything happen.

Skunx crew to be at Dublin Tattoo Convention

Both Nick Reid and Dan Gold will be at the upcoming 6th International Dublin Tattoo Convention. The event takes place from the 7th to 9th of November at the D4 Hotel. Both Nick and Dan are taking bookings for the event.

TV Commercial for Sky Sports to be filmed at Skunx Tattoo

On Wednesday, 20 August, Skunx Tattoo will be closed for business as a Sky Sports advert will be shot on location at the shop. Specific details aren’t available however it is football related and centre’s around Spanish football club, Real Madrid. Be sure to keep your eyes on the TV to see Skunx Tattoo in the advert.

We will be open for business as usual from Thursday, 21 August.

Dan Gold now tattooing at Skunx

Dan GoldDan Gold of London Ink TV series fame will be tattooing at Skunx for the next two weeks. Why not come down (or ring the shop) and see what Dan can do for you. Dan will be available on a walk in basis for the two weeks and then after that will be working on an appointment only basis. Be sure to check out Dan’s myspace page for more information about the man and examples of his work.

The UK Subs stop by the shop

Legendary punk band, UK Subs, recently popped into the shop. They played a show at a venue only a few metres away from the shop. This show was billed as their only London show.
