Temporary closure

Due to the UK government’s announcement yesterday (23rd March) that all non-essential shops are to close, we are with a heavy heart closing the shutters to Skunx Tattoo until further notice. If you have outstanding deposits with us, they will be honoured, and if you had an appointment over this temporary closure, we will re-arrange you as soon as we can once we get the go ahead to re-open.

In the meantime, you can keep track of what we’re doing, and what you might be able to do to help via our instagram: @skunxtattoo

In an effort to help tide ourselves over this financially difficult time, we are also offering gift vouchers to you and all our wonderful customers! This is a way to help us (a team of independent artists running a small business) in the short term, and to get for yourself or a loved one something to look forward to in the coming months.

You can support us by sending an email to your artist of choice, or to the shop if you have no preference, and we can sort you out with a snazzy E-Voucher (no hand washing required) which can be redeemed at your next appointment using your phone.

Guest Artist: Vivien. 5th – 9th March

“My name is Vivien. I am originally from Hungary and I have been drawing since I was able to grab a pencil.
I always aim to design every piece to be timeless and unique. I see every tattoo request as a new challenge. Tattooing is an art which can be so many-sided and so creative. I could not wish for a better “job” than being an artist who is able to make people happy with her art.”

Vivien Vamosi will in the shop from 5th – 9th March for a guest spot. Please contact us to book your appointment.

Welcome to our new resident tattooist Sanyi Boldizsar

Sanyi ‘Boldi’ Boldizsar comes from Hungary and studied fine art at the Hungarian University of Fine Arts. He began tattooing while he was studying at university and he loves to work on portraits and realism using black and grey. He enjoys taking on large projects, such as complete sleeves and back pieces based on films and the natural world, working with customers to create their own unique compositions. Feel free to get in contact with him via our tattoo page to get started with your own projects!
