Skunx Tattoo is proud to announce that Lars Frederiksen (vocalist and guitarist of punk band, Rancid and friend of the Skunx Tattoo family) will be offering an exclusive deal to all our loyal customers.
This November Lars will be in the shop and you have the opportunity to not only meet the punk legend, but to also get a Rancid Punks logo tattoo from him. Further information about the Lars’ visit will be posted soon.
British rock band, Pulled Apart by Horses, and Sam label boss at Transgressive Records recently visited the shop – to put an end to a ‘drunken bet’. Lee, drummer for Pulled Apart by Horses agreed to have a portrait of Sam, tattooed on him if Transgressive Records signed the band. Pulled Apart by Horses got signed and Nick Reid was more than happy to ensure the last part of the deal was signed in ink.
Be sure to pick up the July issue of NME magazine to get the full story.
Born and raised in London’s East End, Hannah, our new weekend receptionist loves punk music, politics and football, not necessarily in that order. She also makes a mean cup of tea if you ask nicely. A one-time winner of The Weakest Link, Hannah’s friendly face is one of the first things you’ll see if you pop into the shop at weekends.
As we mentioned a few weeks back, the store has been going through some changes. We’ve been wanting to make the shop even better and now with the refurbishment completed, we’re confident that your tattoo experience at Skunx Tattoo will be even better. If you can’t come round to the shop, be sure to take a look at these photos showing the new look and the freshly tiled floor.
Be sure to give us a call or pop into the shop to discuss your next tattoo.
We will be making some changes to the shop. Some of these changes will mean we need to close the shop for a few days. Please kindly note that from Monday 8th February to Wednesday 10th February, Skunx Tattoo will be closed. It will be business as usual from Thursday 11th February. Be sure to give us a call on 0207 278 6960 or drop by the shop (11 Chapel Market, Angel, London, UK, N1 9EZ) to discuss your tattoo requirements.
Just a quick one to let you know that the shop will be closed from the 22nd of December and we’ll be open again on the 29th. The shop will also be closed on both the 1st and 2nd of January.
From all of us here at Skunx Tattoo – have a great festive season and all the best for the new year.

If you haven’t visited the shop recently, we really hope you’ll come down and see the stunning stained glass doors done by Tom from Tattoo Glass. We’re extremely happy with the final look of these tattoo inspired stained glass works of art. If you can’t make it to the shop, this image will just have to do for now.
To see more of Tom’s work and for information, please do visit his website over at www.tattooglass.com. The website showcases some beautiful works of tattoo glass and some great information about what Tom offers.
Due to unforseen circumstances from the Norwegian side, Nick will no longer be guesting at Empire Tattoos in Stavanger.
We apologise for any hassles this might have caused.
